Vali (Valerian) “Sir Blues” Racila is a strange guy: even if one of our most complete blues singers, he is very modest. Sir Blues performs rarely in Bucharest and other important cities and dedicates an important amount of time working with mental pacients in some kind of musical therapy.
I met him recently in Targu Mures, in a late summer night, when he performed a short ad-hoc session.
For the first time i’m sorry i cannot reproduce music in my pics. His old traditional acoustic blues gives you shivers down the spine. But be sure to check out the videos i’ve posted below the photos.
